這部電影應取名《黛安那的喪禮（Diana’s Funeral）》比較貼切。

電影拍得很細緻。人物刻畫生動：首相布萊爾、女王伊莉莎白、王夫飛利浦、……，都讓人如見其人。皇家獵場的風景拍得很美，配樂也很對味。電影將王室對黛安那（車禍死亡前已與查爾斯王子離婚）的不屑表露無遺，不過也無形中也替女王申了冤。是一部會讓人想看第二遍的好電影。

整體表現 8 分。

對劇情感觸最深的是，整個政府的決策，全都跟著大聲的媒體走，讓人不曉得是媒體治國，還是政府領導人治國。從這點看，台灣和英國沒甚麼兩樣。這就是為甚麼好多看不下去的公務員提早退休的主要原因：無法好好的為社會做點事，只能被迫跟著首長讓媒體牽著，像無頭蒼蠅般的團團轉。
